There are plenty of free websites and tons of free softwares available across the web which can be used for watching tv channels live. It can be sports channel or entertainment or new channels. Personally i do not like watching tv much but sometime even i watch news channels and i tried to use many softwares/websites and found an interesting software which is absolutely spyware free and its free.  Its tvu player from tvunetworks.

TVU player can be downloaded from its official website free of cost. There are paid subscriptions as well which gives you an additional functionality of recording it and playing them later You can watch even hindi channels and latest bollywood movies as well. The best part is that by watching these channels you are not doing any crime as you are not downloading any copyrighted material. So legally also you are safe and you do not need to spend anything for these channels. Some days back i posted here how you can watch tv channels on website for free but this method is also good. You may download the exe file or zip file. If you do not want to install anything then just download the portable version of the software and enjoy. Yesterday I was tinkering the partitions with Microsoft Disk Management in Windows XP.I’m not a big fan of it, but it’s pretty simple with that GUI. I wanted to delete my last partition and salvage some space for Linux, clicked on "Delete logical drive". voila !!! the whole extended partition got deleted !!! so simple !

was wishing hard for an undo there. no way ! all my important files are gone in split seconds.

There came TestDisk for my rescue.

TestDisk is a powerful free and open source data recovery software which supports DOS, Windows, Linux and Mac.

Within minutes all my partitions are recovered,the old MBR was restored.In windows it works in Command Line mode without any eye candy GUI,but it really serves its purpose.

• Fix partition table, recover deleted partition
• Recover FAT32 boot sector from its backup
• Rebuild FAT12/FAT16/FAT32 boot sector
• Fix FAT tables
• Rebuild NTFS boot sector
• Recover NTFS boot sector from its backup

• Locate ext2/ext3 Backup SuperBlock
• Undelete files from FAT filesystem
• Copy files from deleted FAT, NTFS and ext2/ext3 partitions.
